Paraeducator Services
Keystone AEA realizes the importance of para support in enhancing the educational achievements of children. Keystone assists over 900 paras in their work by providing:
- Individual check-out ID numbers to enable paras to directly access materials from the Keystone AEA Media Center
- Resource materials in the Keystone AEA Instructional Media lab.
- Needs assessment to determine para needs each summer.
- Inservices on topics important to paraeducators within local school districts and through Keystone AEA.
- Help to schools in meeting the state requirements related to paraeducators.
- Paraeducator Certification program based on state criteria (Level 1, Level 2 and Recertification).
